Katherine Rondeau with Eric Lambert at Two Way Street

Katherine Rondeau with Eric Lambert at Two Way Street

at Two Way Street Coffee House

Katherine Rondeau is a full-throttle singer-songwriter who focuses her passion for classic folk music through a thoroughly modern lens. After bursting onto the Philly folk scene in 2015, she was quickly recognized for her rich, bold voice and engaging performance style. Katherine’s album, Unfortunate Point of View, spent five consecutive months on the Folk DJ charts, including #4 album and #1 original song in January 2019.

Katherine’s sound is an organic blend of folk, blues, and mountain music. Her voice – strong, soulful, warm – rings out like a bell on a clear summer’s night. A three-time “Rich’s Pick” from Chicago legend Rich Warren’s Midnight Special radio show, her music has been embraced by Folk DJs throughout the Midwest, including Lilli Kuzma, host, WDCB-FM Folk Festival, who stated, “Katherine Rondeau is a fabulous talent!”

Katherine will be joined for the show by longtime friend of Two Way Street, Eric Lambert. Eric, a 2015 Chicago Music Awards winner, is a renowned flatpicker who delivers his original elixir of feel-good Americana infused with bluegrass, blues, roots, rock, & soul.

Katherine’s tour continues with a performance at Rich Warren’s WFMT 98.7 FM Folkstage on Saturday, August 24, 8:00 PM.
