Gregg Morton, Carol Sommer, Ron Leaneagh, and Cathy Jones are all lifelong musicians who became involved in music as children. We are fortunate that they found each other and continue to delight audiences throughout the Chicago area with their foot-stomping music!

They are all active members and participants of the local Plank Road Folk Music Society, where they met. They have performed many times both separately and together at Two Way Street Coffee House and other venues in the Chicago area.

Lonesome Eagle performs a variety of traditional and contemporary folk music featuring three part harmonies accompanied by guitar, banjo, fiddle, and standup bass. Occasionally, they add a mandolin, ukulele or percussion instrument.
