On Nov. 5, Rizwan will present Divine Commands, Human Input: Shari’a as Sacred Law in Action, this year’s al-Ghazali lecture at Elmhurst College. Professor Rizwan teaches Islamic and interreligious studies, and also serves as the associate director of the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program, at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
