Discover why many historians believe the murder of a 14-year-old Chicago boy resulted in the development of the modern Civil Rights Movement in 1955. Our guest speaker, Mike Small, and his wife Tina were very close to Emmett’s mother, Mamie Till, until her death in 2003. Mike was a pall bearer at her funeral.
