In this intermediate watercolor workshop conducted by artist and educator Bryce Lafferty, participants will visualize connections between landscape elements at The Morton Arboretum and their own personal responses to nature.

Please bring the following supplies:
Recommended brushes: synthetic sable, Princeton or equivalent in round 1, 3, 6, 8, and 12, and square flat 1 inch, ½ inch, and ¼ inch
Palette: any flat white waterproof surface, Ideally with individual wells
Recommended paint: student grade, Cotman or equivalent. Colors: ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, or Prussian blue; alizarin crimson permanent, cadmium red or permanent red; new gamboge, lemon yellow, arulean yellow, or Hansa yellow; sap green or hooker’s green; viridian Chinese white, permanent white, or zinc white; yellow ocher, raw umber, or burnt sienna; mars black, lamp black, or ivory black.
