Conceptual Landscapes in Watercolor with Bryce Lafferty

Conceptual Landscapes in Watercolor with Bryce Lafferty

Presented by The Morton Arboretum at The Morton Arboretum

In this intermediate watercolor workshop conducted by artist and educator Bryce Lafferty, participants will visualize connections between landscape elements at The Morton Arboretum and their own personal responses to nature.

Lafferty’s watercolors are poetic mixtures of science and personal expression. In this workshop, he will teach his process for generating content-rich and layered works, demonstrate intermediate watercolor techniques, and help students identify compositional strategies that support their own unique ideas.
