Felt Tapestry Workshop

Meet award winning fiber artist Tammy L. Deck on Valentine’s Day. Tammy is the owner of TLD Design Center & Gallery in Westmont. Supplies, tools & fiber will be provided for each participant to learn introductory concepts & strategies to harness the magic behind wet felting. Contrary to popular belief, felting is NOT knit or crocheted. Each participant will do a collage approach layout for one 8” x 10” textile. Choose your own color palette, cut & layer your design elements & create the surface tapestry. Pieces will go home damp. Simply lay on a towel to dry & then mount for wall art or stitch into your vision of a final use.
