Bridging Math and Music in The Early Years
This workshop will demonstrate the effect of music on the child’s developing mathematical brain! Together we will experience singing games that explore beat, rhythm, pattern, melody, sound, and form—all through the lens of math. Pairing Yinna’s research with Erin’s classroom experience, the workshop will provide inspiration to engage little ones in active, joyful musical experiences that lay the foundation for emerging math skills.
