Theatre
North Central College’s award-winning theatre programs showcase musical and non-musical performances, actor showcases, one-act plays and dance in the College’s four theatre venues. Under the direction of faculty who are also actors from stages in New York and Chicago, student performances are on par with professional artists. The versatility of the College’s venues also provides an ideal setting for professional theatre company performances.

Music
With everything from jazz and opera to classical, gospel and pop, we offer something for every music lover. Each season, North Central College will host headlining tours, community performers, and of course, our own student performers who are on par with professional artists.

Dance
National and local touring companies perform on North Central College’s stages throughout the year. Audiences can also enjoy performances choreographed and presented by our own dance students.

Art
North Central College shows a range of artwork and exhibitions from promising students who are just starting out to community artists who have earned accolades to internationally renowned artists who have been honing their craft for years. Each year, these artists submit their work to the College’s three galleries. Those selected for display are at the top of their craft. Most exhibits are free and open to the public for the cultural enrichment and enjoyment of the community.

Lectures & Films
North Central College offers a series of speaker presentations throughout the year. From nationally recognized academic, political and humanitarian experts to best-selling authors, celebrities and film producers, guest speakers have included Cornel West, Caroline Kennedy, Madeleine Albright, Regis Philbin, Molly Shannon and Tavis Smiley and many more. Most of the presentations are free and open to the public.
