The West Suburban Symphony Society is a not-for-profit organization that operates four community musical groups: three orchestras and a symphonic chorus. Our mission is to:

  • Delight our audiences by offering enjoyable and affordable musical programs in the Chicago area
  • Inspire, educate and foster the musical talent of children and young adults
  • Enrich the musical lives of our members and the communities where we perform
  • We present concerts year round, primarily in Hinsdale, Naperville, and Wheaton.

Now celebrating its 71st anniversary, the West Suburban Symphony consistently wins rave reviews for its powerful performances of symphonic and chamber music for both orchestra  and chorus.

WSS is a 70-piece symphony orchestra and a 30-piece chamber orchestra and our combined 150 strong forces of our symphony orchestra and chorus directed by Maestro Peter Lipari, internationally know for his expressive conducting.
