Be the band. Be the conductor. Be the artist! Prepare to be immersed in an interactive exhibit where art and music collide. Art is Instrumental, the newest exhibit at DuPage Children’s Museum, will have visitors moving to the beat of their own drum…literally! Enjoy special performances and activities to celebrate opening weekend.

Art Is Instrumental:

DuPage Children's Museum features paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and instruments. This hands-on, open-ended exhibit will explore artist’s representations of instruments in both 2D and 3D works. Activities  include building a musical sculpture out of household items, creating a still-life out of musical instruments, playing a tune on a PVC pipe organ and conducting an “orchestra.”

Parking Info

Free, on-site parking is available in our own parking lot. On our busiest days, street parking is also available. The Museum is just across the street from the train station - Ride the Metra BNSF line to the Naperville stop.
