Festive holiday music, some familiar and some new, will be performed including A Hanukkah Festival, We Wish You a Merry Christmas Around the World, So Wondrous Bright based on a Puerto Rican Carol, Emmanuel Variants and a Concert Suite from The Polar Express.

American Wind Band, an adult community band based in Downers Grove, was created to promote and encourage the understanding, appreciation and study of concert band literature through performance. The band, by presenting concerts in several various venues, extends the education and enjoyment of band music to all in attendance. Donations are accepted for the band's operations and we are a 501c3 organization so your generous donation is tax deductible.

American Wind Band endeavors to inspire talented young musicians by sponsoring a scholarship competition for eighth grade and high school band musicians. Our scholarships are provided to encourage private music study or attendance at a band camp of the student's choosing.
