Come and celebrate the holiday season as the beautiful Village of Addison Christmas tree is lit! Santa will be there so bring the kids and bring your camera. This will be an ideal time to take the perfect picture for this year’s holiday card.
The Christmas train will be running with stops at St. Paul Church's Living Nativity and the Holiday Craft Fair outside the Historical Museum from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. At 7:00 pm, music of the season presented by Addison Elementary Schools: Ardmore, Lake Park, and Stone and by Addison Trail High School "Shades of Blue" will fill the air. The festively decorated Historical Museum buildings will be open from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A performance of traditional Holiday Carols by the Vagabond Singers, an a capella quartet dressed in Victorian garb, inside the Century House will run from 7:30-8:30 pm. The lights of the Addison Christmas Tree will be turned on at 8:00 pm sharp in the Village Hall Rotunda. Following the lighting ceremony, visits with Santa will continue until 9:00pm. Holiday treats will be available for everyone!
This event is free to the public.
