Gina Forsyth is a singer/songwriter, violinist, and guitarist from New Orleans. She possesses a soulful alto voice and songs that cut straight to the heart--unpretentious, well-crafted, and profound.

Gina's third solo CD, Copper Rooster and Other Tunes and Tales, on Waterbug Records, features her prodigious fiddle chops.

Gina’s 2012 release on Waterbug, Promised Land, was top ten on the Folk DJ List in 2012; the title
cut was the #1 song for January 2012. In 2015, Gina was one of 24 Emerging Artists at the Falcon
Ridge Folk Festival, then voted one of three Most Wanted to return to Falcon Ridge in 2016. She is
also 1/3 of the Malvinas; their new CD, God Bless the Grass, is set for release this spring on Soona
Songs.
