Burning Bush Gallery has been transformed into a Day of the Dead alter in celebration of the the lively Mexican holiday that honors the deceased. The installation, comprising the work of over 100 students from James Giles School in Norridge, fills the room with beautifully decorated sugar skulls created by young artists under the tutelage of the inspirational art instructor, Charles Heinrich. A special reception will be held in conjunction with Zendaddy and the False Selves: Recent Paintings by Bill Austin on Saturday, October 28 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. The exhibit runs through November 12.
