Neurographic Art is based on the scientific study of visual thinking and pattern identification. The technique is said to link your conscious and subconscious mind to create new neural pathways, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. BAA member Connie Christopher will lead participants in this art method. Through the use of music and color choices, participants will be encouraged to express their own emotions on paper. Different music tempos will be utilized. Bring your choice of supplies: paper, sketchbook, pens, markers, paints, brushes, water container, anything you like to use. Visitors are welcome. There is a $10 drop-in fee, or consider becoming a member. The BAA welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art. Membership dues for the calendar year of September through May are $30. Contact Lois Shaffer at 630-924-1577 for details or membership information.
