Artificial Hinstellligence: Community Revue 2024

Presented by The Community House at The Community House

What is Artificial Hinstelligence and why does everyone want it? Your guess is as good as ours, and that's what makes the bi-annual Community Revue performance so fun, the plot is a mystery, but one thing is certain, the Community House Players will do their darnedest to push the boundaries of roasting Hinsdale and its residents, because the majority of the cast members live or work in Hinsdale and know exactly what it's like.

"Two years have gone by since our last show, and so much has happened in Hinsdale. Some good, some bad, some ugly, but always with elegance and a hint of arrogance. Community Revue is a spoof of all things Hinsdale, and it's all good fun, and meant to make our neighbors laugh at themselves, and entertain our neighboring communities as well." Said Community Revue producer Susan O'Byrne. "If you've ever chuckled at something that happened in Hinsdale or even rolled your eyes, this show is for you. But more importantly, if you love living in Hinsdale, and are grateful for everything this place has to offer, this show is for you."

Guests (21 and over) can prepare themselves to have a non-automated, fully human, genuinely uproarious time at Community Revue 2024- Artificial Hinstelligence. This two-hour performance, featuring some of our community’s legendary local actors, will include a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres and an open bar prior to the performance, as well as mid-show refreshments and dessert. Tickets are $125 per-person and help support The Community House’s programs and mission to ignite the promise of relationships; inspire your best self to come out and play; unite people across a diverse community and provide a meaningful place to engage.

"The rich history forged by the Community House Players dates back over 25 years, when Board Trustee Dick Johnson suggested that improvements be made to Kettering Hall, where all of our performances took place." Said Executive Director Dan Janowick. "The late Dick Johnson, Gerry Sweeney, Jay Tuthill, and Norm Chimenti formed the Community House Players, and since then Community Revue has raised essential funds for The Community House to continue providing theater, arts programming, and other events on a regular basis. In 2021, we had the privilege of naming the stage in Kettering Hall in honor of Dick Johnson. It's a true joy to see Community Revue performed on The Dick Johnson Memorial Stage. We hope this year's Revue will raise over $80,000 in support of our mission and continued support of our arts programming."

Tickets are available for four performances of Artificial Hinstelligence, March 8, 9, and 15, 16 and can be purchased on The Community House website, thecommunityhouse.org.
