Art & Gratitude: Visiting Artist Weekend in Elmhurst

Presented by Elmhurst Pride Collective and Michael Symber Studios / Fine Art School and Elmhurst Art Museum at Elmhurst Art Museum

Friday 3/8, 7 pm: Self-Love Portrait Workshop, at Michael Symber Studios

Sunday 3/10, 12 pm: Radical Self-Love Speaking Event, at Elmhurst Art Museum

Sunday 3/10, 1:30 pm: Creative Affirmation Workshop, at Elmhurst Art Museum

All events led by artist Rae Senarighi.

Friday workshop is best for high school, college, and adults with some art experience (have taken classes, or amateur or professional artists). Focus is on using compassion when creating a self-portrait, rather than specific art skills.

Sunday keynote speech is open to all ages.

Sunday workshop is appropriate for ages 8+, families welcome! Session will focus on creating an affirming phrase, depicting it using typography skills, and decorating using supplied materials. No art experience needed.
