The Art of Book Folding with Beth Dover. Join us to create folded book art. Together we'll begin a cut-and-fold pattern and learn some methods to adjust the pattern to make different variations of the same design.

Please bring these supplies: hardcover book (without color illustrations inside), 7.5-8 inches tall, minimum 470 pages (this can include unnumbered pages in the front and back); pencil, preferably mechanical; ruler with millimeter markings; scissors - best if they have a sharp point. Optional: rock, stapler, something heavy that can hold down book pages after marking/cutting; bone folder, credit card, pan scraper, vinyl scraper to make sharp creases.

$10 visitor fee. Registration is required; please contact Lois Shaffer at 630-924-1577. Consider becoming a member. The BAA welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art. Membership dues for the calendar year of September through May are $30.
