The Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics & Economics at Wheaton College presents "Leadership Through Liberal Arts: Why Divergent Thinkers Are Needed In A Convergent World," a lecture by Vice Admiral Ann Rondeau, President of the Naval Postgraduate School on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM.

Divergent thinking empowers creative problem solving, and is crucial as a complimentary counterpart to analytic decision making. Join us to hear President Rondeau elaborate on the importance of a liberal arts education for equipping individuals able to navigate both effectively and thoughtfully through an increasingly complex world.

Retired Vice Adm. Ann E. Rondeau was appointed as President, Naval Postgraduate School on January 29, 2019. She brings to the assignment an unparalleled record of leadership and achievement within the military and academia in the areas of education, training, research, executive development, change management, and strategic planning. Prior to her appointment, Adm. Rondeau served as the sixth president of the College of DuPage.

This event is free and open to the public and will take place in Marion E. Wade Center, Room 130 Bakke Auditorium, located at 351 East Lincoln Avenue in Wheaton on the Northwest corner of campus at the intersection of Washington Street and Lincoln Avenue.
