A 2-person play written by St. Charles poet and playwright Russ Deveraux.
The Coffee Shop is a riveting exploration of the meaning of existence among the complexities of modern day society that culminates in the question “what will your last cup of coffee taste like?” It follows the chance meeting of Charlie, a witty and curious tea drinker played by Elizabeth Thompson of Roselle, and Rhodes, played by Streamwood actor Scott Surowiecki, searching for meaning in life.
