May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and when we need help, we don’t always know what we need. Sometimes knowing ourselves better can help us know what helps us when we need help! It also aids our ability to increase social connection, self-connection, and personal confidence.

This workshop is a group art-making experience to explore and connect to ourselves. An abstract self-portrait will reveal how you see yourself through representation of your own characteristics, interests, and passions. Art allows us to explore how we express ourselves as well as who we authentically are. No art experience is needed, and materials will be provided. An introduction to art therapy will be provided, and group sharing will be encouraged (but not required) at the end of the workshop.
