The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music presents a concert performed by faculty artist Leonardo Altino, cello, at 7:30 pm on Monday, March 13.
Join us for an evening of music, memories, and tribute in a recital, "Songs My Father Taught Me." Cellist Leonardo Garcia Altino will perform with his mother and lifelong collaborator, pianist Ana Lucia Garcia Altino, as they remember and celebrate Leonardo's father and Ana Lucia's late husband, Rafael Garcia. The program includes beautiful pieces for cello and piano by Brahms, Debussy, Nobre, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, and Villa-Lobos.
This concert will be held in Armerding Center for Music and the Arts Recital Hall, which is located at 520 E. Kenilworth Ave. on Wheaton's campus. For ticket information, visit tickets.wheaton.edu
