Musician Mark Dvorak will examine the roots of American music with examples from African-American and British Isles traditions.
We are pleased to welcome back musician Mark Dvorak to open the 2022-2023 Sunday Music Matinee season. This event will feature songs, oral history, demonstrations and the music of American folk artists such as Lead Belly, Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie. Mr. Dvorak will perform folk classics like “This Land Is Your Land” and "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine” and include standards from The Great American Songbook.
This is a free, all-ages event open to the public. Advanced registration is required.
