One of the most respected and longest running juried fine arts shows in the Midwest, our show has a mix of fine art, electrifying music, local non profits, local vendors, with food and drink as well!
The Glen Ellyn Lions Club hosts the Annual Festival of the Arts each year, which for over a third of a century has been held in late August in the Village of Glen Ellyn. Founded by the Jaycees as a community service event, the Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts has become a favorite of fine artists, a magnet to the community for shoppers, and a key contributor to the attraction and quality of life in Glen Ellyn.
In 2004, the Glen Ellyn Lions club stepped in to organize and manage this event to keep it non-profit and independent. While the Festival of the Arts has remained one of the lowest cost shows to produce due to its independence, it has never been possible to mount without the generous help and cooperation of the businesses and art patrons of Glen Ellyn and the surrounding communities.
In addition to hosting fine artists in all media, the Arts Fest has also presented each year a showcase of the lively arts ranging from local students to seasoned professionals in choral, big band, jazz, folk, classical, dance and theater. A variety of activities are also provided for children to challenge their abilities and enhance their love of art, while allowing their parents the opportunity to browse the artists’ booths. There is also opportunity for a variety of food vendors so no one has to go hungry while on the Festival grounds.
Entrance to the show is free to all, but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to the Glen Ellyn Lions Club. This event is ran by the Glen Ellyn Lions Club as a fundraiser for the organization. With these funds we as a club are able to donate these funds back to the community in DuPage County by donating to local non profits and local businesses that foufill our mission. Our mission is simply "We Serve". This means that we support local non profits and their work in the community as well as serving with community service projects. Your donations will go towards fueling our community to be its best and we sincerely appreciate any donation you are willing to give!

The park has wide walk ways and the artist booths will be along these paths. The entrance to the park is wide as well and can be easily accessed by those with limited vision and or wheel chair needs. There will also be seating at the food vendor area for a reprieve from the busy day.
