Musicians and artists from around the world gather in Wheaton on July 20-23, 2022, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Accordionists & Teachers Guild International (ATG)
UMKC Community Accordion Ensemble and special guest artists Mirco Patarini, President of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA), Murl Allen Sanders, recording artist, composer and teacher, and Nikolay Bine. Together, these program offerings are part of a full weekend of celebration in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Accordion Teachers Guild of America Festival.

Racine Symphony Orchestra Featuring Bayan Accordionist Stas Vengleski
The Festival concludes on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 7:30 PM at Armerding Concert Hall, 520 E. Kenilworth Ave., Wheatonwith the Racine Symphony Orchestra under the direction of BIll Morse, featuring bayan accordionist Stas Vengleski. The program culminates with the 80-piece Festival Orchestra conducted by the one and only, Joan C. Sommers, herself a former ATG Champion and founder of the World Accordion Orchestra.
