Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an in-person event and signing line with bestselling author David Sedaris to celebrate his new collection of personal essays, Happy-Go-Lucky.
In Happy-Go-Lucky, David Sedaris captures what is most unexpected, hilarious, and poignant about recent times, personal and public, and expresses in precise language both the misanthropy and desire for connection that drive us all. If we must live in interesting times, there is no one better to chronicle them than the incomparable David Sedaris.
David will be joined by Cindy House - essayist, short story writer, artist, and author of Mother Noise. He will read from his new book and then there will be a numbered signing line.

The author and publisher would like to allow as many people as possible into the bookshop for this event to hear the presentation and join the signing line. Because of this, we have two ticket options: book + chair (SOLD OUT) and book + standing room only. Please note that this will likely be a crowded event and it may be some time before your turn in the signing line comes up.No photography please.
