WWII Authors Talk about History behind "The Sound of Music"

Presented by North Central College Cultural Events at Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, North Central College

Major General Mari K. Eder, U.S. Army, Retired, author of The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line, and Jennifer Coburn, author of Cradles of the Reich, will talk about nazism in World War II with Don Gingold, president of Summer Place Theatre.

The public is invited to this free event at Meiley-Swallow Hall, presented by North Central College Cultural Events, Tuesday, April 12, at 7:00pm on the North Central College campus.

This Author Talk is part of a series of events Summer Place Theatre has planned this year, leading up to their performance of "The Sound of Music" in July. For more information on this and other events, see www.SummerPlaceTheatre.org.

Admission Info

The event is free and open to the public. Special VIP seating is reserved for Summer Place VIP Members, part of their pass to this and other special events leading up to their performances of The Sound of Music, including a red carpet, member-only Sing-a-long version of the movie at Hollywood Palms in June. Performances of the musical, which differs from the movie, will open July 15 for 3 weekends at the Naperville Central High School Auditorium.
