Celebrate the wearing of the Green with Rick Pickren in a traditional St. Paddy’s Day Concert and Sing-a-long, presented by The Glen Ellyn Historical Society.
Enjoy the music stylings of singer-songwriter-actor Rick Pickren as he celebrates the joyful wearing 'o the green. He will treat us to many of the traditional Irish songs, including Danny Boy, My Wild Irish Rose and When Irish Eyes are Smiling. Rick's recordings have been featured on the TV Show The Good Wife and many PBS programs. He is a two-time winner of the Marlboro Country Music Round Up and has shared the stage with George Strait, Merle Haggard, The Judds, Dolly Parton, and Alabama. Refreshments. There is convenient, free parking in our lot. If the lot is full, additional parking is located behind Stacy's Tavern Museum. If school is closed, you may also park by the elementary school, or across the street at the District 41 Administration Building. There is also parking on nearby residential streets, but watch for directional signs as not all side streets allow parking on both sides.
