Self Expression through Altered Books

Self Expression through Altered Books

Presented by College of DuPage Continuing Education at College of DuPage - Continuing Education

Explore various mixed media art techniques to develop and create an altered book project that is focused on self-expression. A variety of materials such as used books, paper, photos, or found objects are used to create a unique piece of art. This project will help students to express feelings, thoughts, and ideas which can positively affect mood, function, cognition, and behavior. Learn to problem-solve material choices and explore both process and product in art making. No prior art experience is required. Instructor: Christa Kagin
