The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Stephen Alltop, continues its season of spectacular music-making, "The Music Lives," with a concert of Baroque favorites presented in two different venues on two different dates in January. The concert on Saturday, January 15 at 2:30 p.m takes place at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, and on Sunday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m., the concert will be repeated at the ESO's home venue, Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. In this year-long celebration of the sixty seasons the ESO has been bringing exceptional orchestral performances to the western suburbs and beyond, the orchestra will delight you with selections by familiar and well-loved Baroque composers: Handel, J. S. Bach, Vivaldi and Telemann. You are invited to join us for these memorable musical events.
The performance of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto is underwritten by a generous gift from Elaine Libovicz.
In-person safety measures are in effect this season. All attendees are required to wear masks, regardless of venue, vaccination status or age. At this time, Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church requires all in attendance on concert days to also sign a release, which can be found on the sidebar of the ESO website.
