In the slums of Monterrey, Mexico, a street gang Los Terkos is committed to hanging out, dressing in bright/baggy clothes, sporting eccentric hairdos and dancing to slowed-down cumbia music. But, after a mix-up with a local gang, their 17-year old leader Ulises, is forced to migrate to the U.S to save his life. He is forced to leave behind his family, friends and everything he loves.
