Annual Christmas Mart is Back!

The Lombard Historical Society, Sacred Heart Church, Calvary Episcopal Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, and First Church of Lombard Maple Street Chapel invite the public to the annual Lombard Christmas Mart on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (First Church of Lombard Maple Street Chapel will close at 1:00 pm). Two years in the making, The Lombard Christmas Mart, hosted by The Lombard Historical Society, Sacred Heart Church, Calvary Episcopal Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, and First Church of Lombard Maple Street Chapel, is back with loads of fun festive unique objects and gifts for everyone. Visitors are invited to shop all locations, to select fine art, hand-crafted goods, boutique items, holiday foods, vintage items and gifts from over 100 vendors.

Get ahead of the game, enjoy the beauty of West Maple Street and check off some of those hard-to-buy-for people on your list. All locations will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021, except First Church of Lombard Maple Street Chapel will close at 1:00 pm. There is free parking at every site and free admission at all locations.
Pick up a Passport at any of the locations, visit all five sites, have your Passport verified and enter to win the Grand Prize, a complementary night at the Westin Lombard, a gift basket from the Lombard Historical Society, or a gift certificate from Rosemary & Jeans Restaurant, Shannon’s Deli & Irish Pub, The Ladies Room Consignment Boutique or the Lilac Bakery. Winners need not be present to win. Alison Costanzo, Executive Director of the Lombard Historical Society, says she “is excited about participating in this long standing tradition and working with all the other organizations on Maple Street.

About the Lombard Historical Society: The Lombard Historical Society celebrates Lombard's heritage by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Lombard and operates the Victorian Cottage Museum, the Carriage House and the Society’s Archives at 23 W. Maple Street, and the Sheldon Peck Homestead (a National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Site) at 355 E. Parkside Avenue in Lombard. Both the Carriage House and Peck Homestead host activities and groups and are open for tours several days a week. The Victorian Cottage is open for tours on Saturdays only by reservation.
