About the Ensemble: Chamber Orchestra is a mixed group of instrumentalists consisting of student and community members and is open to all from high school to adult ages. The ensemble performs both traditional literature for small orchestra/chamber music from the 1600s through the 20th century as well as less traditional chamber orchestra styles such as jazz, contemporary classical, theater and film music. All instrumentalists interested in an eclectic mix of styles and time periods are encouraged to contact the instructor and join.

About the Director: A passionate advocate of music education, Maestro Bauman has dedicated much of his career to broadening music awareness in young people. He is widely acclaimed for programming interactive educational concerts, collaborating with dance companies, chamber ensembles, choral programs and mentoring young soloists. Most notably, he enthusiastically provides young musicians a challenging environment for musical growth as conductor of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Youth Symphony Orchestra, College of DuPage Chamber Orchestra.
