West Suburban Symphony Orchestra Concert

Presented by West Suburban Symphony at Cantigny Park

The West Suburban Symphony returns to its first live performance on Saturday, July 31st at Cantigny Park in Wheaton!  This will be the first time since March 1, 2020 and will be an outdoor concert. The 75-minute concert, titled “Together Again,” will feature Barber's reflective Adagio for Strings and Mahler’s soulful Adagietto from his fifth symphony, as well as Copland’s gentle Saturday Night Waltz and Hayman’s joyful Pops Hoe Down. The orchestra will also perform Berlioz’s spirited Roman Carnival Overture, Rimsky-Korsakov’s resolute Procession of the Nobles, the majestic final movement of Beethoven’s Symphony 5, and the booming finale of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

Bring your own chairs, food, and drinks. Cantigny will provide the beautiful surroundings and the orchestra will provide your musical entertainment for the evening.
