Silent bidding will take place in-gallery and online Tuesday, April 20 through Friday noon on April 23 and is open to everyone.
Celebrate Naperville Art League's 60th anniversary by bringing home your favorite piece of art! NAL is hosting and online/in person silent auction featuring the work of local artists in a variety of mediums. See the auction items here and place your bid through email at naperartleague@aol.com or live at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, 508 North Center Street, Naperville, IL 60563.
Auction items include the work of Gerald L. Nees, a well-known mouth painter, a piece by Dee Pasternak one of the founders of the Naperville Art League, ceramic artist Micky Cunningham, and whimsical art by George Berlin. A number of other award-winning artists are represented in the selection including Laura Lein-Svencner co-founder of the Midwest Collage Society, Camello Schifano long-time watercolor instructor and artist, Sally Sharp president of the Naperville Art League, Patricia Melekus whose art has been displayed throughout the western suburbs, acrylics by Robert Yurgaitis and Chris Hughes, work by glass artist Jim Braun, and many more. Several pieces are large-size for dramatic wall décor.
Bidding will be time-stamped and closes at noon on April 23. Winners will be notified that afternoon and art can be picked up Saturday, April 24.
