Participants Can Submit Their Creations
Spark imagination through a program that incorporates art, math, and science. Local artist, Laura Lynne, inspires families to create artwork together by leading a series of projects that include painting, collage, paper cutting, and more.
Young artists will receive a box of unique materials that will send their artwork in new directions. Complete one art project or all 14! Once a project has been completed, submit your creation(s) to inspire the large artwork that will hang in the Museum. This program uses a combination of engaging pre-recorded videos and optional live, virtual workshops with DCM’s Artist-In-Residence, Laura Lynne and Arts & Maker Specialist, Dustin Thacker.
The live workshops provide an opportunity to collaborate, share work with each other, discuss ideas and techniques, and share in the joy of art making. Join us on Thursdays, February 18, February 25, and March 4 at 4 pm. These workshops are an optional part of the program.
