Robert Frost: A Poet for All Seasons

Presented by Addison Historical Museum and Addison Public Library at Online/Virtual Space

Historian and Frost enthusiast, Alice Smith will present a virtual program, "Robert Frost:  A Poet for All Seasons" on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7pm on Zoom.  Robert Frost (1874-1963) is one of America's favorite poets.  Most of his poems are rooted in New England rural settings: farms, fences, woods, flowers, birds and gardens.  From his 259 poems, selecting some to reflect spring, summer, fall or winter, brings his poetry to life at any time of the year.  Learn about the poet's fascinating youth, his family, his explosive popularity, goodwill travels for the Kennedy administration and university professorships.
