Two Way Street Coffee House Celebrates 50 Years--George Mattson Trio

Presented by Two Way Street Coffee House at Online/Virtual Space

On Friday, November 13th, Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents the George Mattson Trio.

November begins a five week virtual celebration in honor of Two Way Street Coffee House’s 50th Anniversary!  Join us as we commemorate each decade at the Two Way Street, honoring 50 years of artists, volunteers and patrons.  Representing the 2000s, George Mattson has been a performer at Two Way Street Coffee House and a fixture in the local folk community for many years.  A member of Plank Road Folk Music Society and the Plank Road String Band, George is our long time leader of the Plank Road and Two Way Street co-sponsored Saturday Sing Arounds and Song Circles.  We are thrilled to have the George Mattson Trio as part of our 50th celebration!

Performing old time and classic country, swing, jazz, blues, honkytonk, George Mattson accompanies his big, rich voice on guitar and banjo. Featuring Tommy Re on fiddle, and Mike Hazdra on vocals and bass.  Two Way Street Director and multi-instrumentalist Joel Simpson will fill in for Tommy Re for this performance.

You may access the livestream on www.twowaystreet.org or on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.
