Dessert with History

Dessert with History

Presented by First Division Museum at Online/Virtual Space

Throughout history horses have been used to support soldiers all over the world. These animals have been the power and movement behind countless armies. Even with the invention of motorized vehicles in the military, horses were still being used. The First Division Museum's Audra Kantor and Chris Huntoon, owner/operator of Huntoon Stables in Aurora, will speak at this special "Dessert with History" virtual event.  Get to know a horse up close and learn about the daily lives of horses and their military contributions over the last century.

Dessert will be a sweet treat trail mix. The ingredients below are suggestions, but feel free to substitute your favorites or find a pre-made trail mix at your favorite local shop.

For those who want to make our at-home treat please have available:

Mini-cookies (Famous Amos mini chocolate chip cookies, mini Oreos, etc.)
Favorite granola
Nuts or Pretzels
Candy chips of your choice (chocolate, peanut butter, cinnamon)

This event is free but please register at www.fdmuseum.org. You will receive a link to the Zoom presentation prior to the event.
