For the “I can’t be away from my loom for that long!” crowd!
On October 13, Illinois Prairie Weavers presents a “how to” for those of us who can’t bear to be separated from our looms and shuttles while we travel. IPWG’s own Jennifer Johnson is an accomplished weaver, perennial knowledge seeker, dynamic teacher, and generous sharer. She will introduce the Beka loom, as well as other unusual, interesting and equally portable looms. She’ll talk about low tech weaving tools and techniques and describe the use of a rigid heddle loom and direct warping.
On-Line Meeting Tuesday, October 13 at 10 AM. The Guild welcomes visitors! For registration information, visit our website, www.illinoisprairieweavers.org/programs. Guild members will receive meeting access specifics privately. Note that meetings are subject to change. Visit our website and see us on Facebook and Instagram.
