MAC Director and “Frida Kahlo: Timeless” Executive Director Diana Martinez moderates a discussion with panelists Cristobal Cavazos, activist and leader of Immigrant Solidarity DuPage; Cesáreo Moreno, Curator of the National Museum of Mexican Art; John Paris, COD professor of History & Latin American Studies; Fernando Ramirez, President of the Mexican Cultural Center DuPage, and Justin Witte, Curator of the Cleve Carney Museum of Art and “Frida Kahlo: Timeless,” discussing how and why the Mexican revolution began and the significant impact it had on art, culture, and national identity. A Q&A with the panelists will follow.
