Anderson’s Bookshops in Naperville and Downers Grove are beginning a new chapter with virtual author events. After experimenting a bit this summer with various platforms and ticketing procedures, Anderson’s Bookshops will launch a full virtual events program that will allow customers to continue "meeting" their favorite authors during this Covid crisis. Just in time for the busy fall book release season!

Anderson's realizes that this is a challenging period for many families. We are offering a variety of ticket options to most virtual events so that customers can choose what is the best fit right now. Some events will have a free ticket option, a donation option, or include only paid ticket options. Paid tickets will always include a book.

Anderson's Virtual Author Events will continue until we are safely able to meet in person again. (In normal times. Anderson’s Bookshops hold about 400 in-person events a year, so this is a noteworthy departure!)

To make things fun and interactive, each event will be a little different. Customers are advised to closely read the details before ordering tickets!

Because programs are now remote, fans from across the nation are invited. Locality is no longer necessary, so customers may spread the wealth and invite friends and family in far flung locations to participate as well. A family or friends book club may be just the thing quarantined readers would love. Just remind your distant family and friends that programs take place in the Central Time Zone.

There are many more to come, but you can check upcoming announced virtual events and details by visiting - https://www.andersonsbookshop.com/
