Arts in Bartlett Spring Gala

Presented by Arts in Bartlett at Arts in Bartlett NFP

Arts in Bartlett to Stream Spring Gala on Facebook Live on May 3

When it became apparent that the 3rd annual Spring Gala could not be held at a banquet hall as planned due to COVID-19,  Arts in Bartlett decided the show must go on.  Now the performances featuring the arts center’s teachers will be livestreamed on Facebook Live, 3-4:30 pm on Sunday May 3 from facebook.com/ArtsinBartlett/. Prizes of donated gift certificates will be awarded during the events to those who view and comment or donate through a link to the art council’s website. A tour of the gallery will highlight current artists and their works for sale.

Dorothy Deen, cello performer and teacher, will host the event in the Bartlett Center for the Arts, with board member Paul Ohlson as co-host. The program includes:

Dorothy Deen, cello
Tobias James, classical and Spanish guitar
Katey Mundorf, Irish Dance
Mindy Dupee, vocal and piano
Ann Griffin, children’s art presentation
Paul Ohlson, history of Arts in Bartlett and tour of gallery art
Drawings for gift certificates

It is free to attend, but donations are encouraged through a link on the Facebook event.

Families are encouraged to make this a Sunday afternoon party, ordering food from our sponsor TL’s Four Seasons restaurant and mixing their own quarantinis while enjoying an hour of beautiful music and art with our local talent.
