At this time, we are extending our Free Online Classes for as long as the Chicago region remains under a "Shelter in Place" Situation.  Feel free to share this message or our above schedule with any of your friends as we've extended the allowed number of seats so we can accommodate more viewers.  Additionally, we've learned a lot about broadcasting and what equipment works best as well as how to use Zoom.us.

Somethings you should note.You can RECORD the classes directly to your computer.  There is a record feature on the bottom of your application.
ASK QUESTIONS!  We'll try to answer everyone!  Use the Q&A hand sign to ask questions.
It can be viewed on computer, mobile phone, or tablet on any browser.  You can also attach your device to your tv or computer monitor to see the lesson more easily.

HONORING OUR HEROES ON THE FRONT LINES

At this time, we'd like to honor our students who are in the medical and first responder roles in this day and age.  They are our heroes and should be honored for the work they are doing on the front lines of this battle.

Students like Dr. Mila Felder who works as an ER doctor.  The following was from Dr. Felder on what's going on in the ER, what you can do to at home and what you can do if you want to help those that protect us:

We have many nurses and first responders in our current and past student base.  If you are a medical professional especially if you're working with possible COVID patients or you know one of our students who is, please let us know who they are and what they do so we can honor them as well in our next newsletter.

The one other person I'd like to recognize is Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Rapp.  Her years of experience in Cardiac and ICU has always placed her in life saving situations on a routine basis.  I'm proud to call her friend and look forward to possibly dancing with her at World's in ProAm someday once all this calms down.
