Arranmore is hosting an “Artist-a-Day”. We will be working with our family of artists so that they can continue to create, as well as offer our audiences fun activities to help break up the days.
CLAIRE WELLIN (YOUTH IN A ROMAN FIELD)
Youth in a Roman Field wants to help you break the rules. The genre-crossing band from singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Claire Wellin incorporates sounds of "Appalachia, cayenne pepper, & ghosts." Originally out of Chicago, they are proudly based out of Queens, NY.
The band - including collaborators Tiffany Topol, Scott Stangland, Cassidy Stirtz, and Jamie Mohamdein - uses their collective training in classical, jazz, and folk traditions to create an original, progressive sound with sweeping, powerful vocals at the forefront.
