Qyjon is a socially conscious collage artist. The motivation for Qyjon’s art is his experience of homelessness, the army and working in corrections. Qyjon seeing firsthand the relationship between the military/prison industrial complex and poverty. This experience gives Qyjon a unique outlook that is reflected in his artwork. Along with making Art, Qyjon is also a mentor for at-risk youth. Qyjon working as a role model and a real-life example of what a homeless youth can become, with a proper dedication to creation.
