Members of the Fox Valley Study Group will share the work that they’ve pursued during the last year. This year’s studies focused on doubleweave, weaving for wearables, and sewing those woven fabrics. When an Illinois Prairie Weavers study group presents its annual Show and Tell program, it’s always educational, usually challenging, sometimes very funny, with heartwarming stories of struggle and success, and always inspirational!

The Guild welcomes visitors!
The Illinois Prairie Weavers Guild was organized in 1949 to promote and advance hand weaving by coming together to teach, encourage and inspire one another by sharing our knowledge and resources, and providing the opportunity to learn from experienced weavers. Members come from the western suburbs and Chicago.  The guild is open to anyone interested in weaving.  Monthly meetings are held at the Congregation Etz Chaim, 1710 S. Highland Avenue, Lombard, IL, September through June.
