Artist’s Reception, Saturday, December 7th, 2 to 3:30 pm.
A definition of “whimsy” is “playfully quaint or fanciful.” The word aptly describes this collection of small paintings, on display at the Lisle Library now through the end of January. Simple, everyday objects are the starting points for designing the various bright and colorful compositions. The artist has taken advantage of the best qualities of several different media: oil, acrylic, paint pens and markers to create these clean-lined, whimsical paintings.
The exhibit runs through January 30, 2020.
