The Biblical & Theological Studies at Wheaton College presents “The New Testament in Its World: How History Can Revitalize Faith,” a lecture by N.T. Wright
Nearly two thousand years separate us from the world of Jesus. What if we could close the distance and think more like the first Christians? Join scholar and author N.T. Wright for this special lecture as he explores how the church and our personal faith can be renewed by a fresh engagement with the New Testament in its world.
N.T. Wright is a leading academic and award-author of over eighty books, including Surprised by Hope, Simply Christian, and The Challenge of Jesus. Wright has been called the most prolific biblical scholar in a generation, perhaps the most important apologist for the Christian faith since C.S. Lewis.
Free Admission.
This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Billy Graham Center's Barrows Auditorium, located at 500 College Ave. in Wheaton.
